My Vision as an artist is that the purpose of art is to portray the beauty and meaning of life.
I work in various mediums such as oil, graphite pencil, and silverpoint, yet watercolor is the most interesting for me because it brings unpredictability. Mastering it gives a sense of achievement.
I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. The fine art skills and knowledge I have today came from studying art intensively for 15 years from the age of nine.
I was fortunate to have very professional art teachers, and I went through the system of art education that taught art in the classical way, where form is everything. My art education combines three five-year courses. I studied drawing, painting, art history, decorative arts, and sculpture at a school of fine arts. Then it was the five-year course at the academy of arts, department of easel painting and drawing. And finally, I spent five more years obtaining a university degree as a professional fine art teacher.
Since then, fine art has been an essential part of my professional life. After graduation, I was painting in oil and watercolor, and I had exhibitions in Europe and North America. My artworks have found their homes in collections in the USA, Canada, UK, Russia, Finland, Holland, Germany, Poland, France, Spain, and many other countries.
Presently I am teaching art students from various countries over the Internet. Thanks to new technologies, it is possible to provide value to many people who can learn drawing and painting techniques from me. I also write practical books about art on topics such as how to draw and paint, as well as how to promote one’s art.
Mi visión como artista es que el propósito del arte es retratar la belleza y el significado de la vida.
He estado dibujando desde que tengo memoria. Las habilidades y conocimientos de bellas artes que tengo hoy provienen de estudiar arte intensamente durante 15 años a partir de los nueve años.
Tuve la suerte de tener profesores de arte muy profesionales, y pasé por el sistema de educación artística que enseñaba arte de manera clásica, donde la forma lo es todo.
Mi educación artística combina tres cursos de cinco años. Estudié dibujo, pintura, historia del arte, artes decorativas y escultura en una escuela de bellas artes. Según los estándares de hoy, esto me calificaría como artista profesional. Luego fue el curso de cinco años en el departamento de pintura y dibujo de caballete de la academia de artes. Y finalmente, pasé cinco años más obteniendo un título universitario como profesor profesional de bellas artes.
Desde entonces, las bellas artes han sido una parte esencial de mi vida profesional. Después de graduarme, estaba pintando al óleo y acuarela, y tuve exposiciones en Europa y América del Norte. Mis obras de arte han encontrado su hogar en colecciones en los Estados Unidos, Canadá, Reino Unido, Rusia, Finlandia, Holanda, Alemania, Polonia, Francia, España y muchos otros países.
Actualmente estoy enseñando a estudiantes de arte de varios países a través de Internet. Gracias a las nuevas tecnologías, es posible proporcionar valor a muchas personas que pueden aprender de mí las técnicas de dibujo y pintura.
