Megha Kapoor es la vicepresidenta de la Sociedad de Acuarela de la India (WSI). También es vicepresidenta de la Sociedad Internacional de Acuarela de la India (IWS-INDIA) y editora de la revista de la Sociedad Internacional de Acuarela.

2006 Graduada en Artes Aplicadas en la Facultad de Bellas Artes de Jamia Millia Islamia, Nueva Delhi
En 2007 empezó a trabajar como instructora de arte en la escuela de arte y animación Anitoons y ahora es la directora del departamento de B.F.A. en Anitoons. Además de impartir clases en Anitoons, da conferencias y talleres de acuarela y viaja por todo el mundo invitada por instituciones de apoyo a las bellas artes.
Conocida internacionalmente por sus pinturas florales, ha participado en más de 100 exposiciones de arte en la India y en el extranjero y ha sido invitada a varios festivales de arte de prestigio. Sus obras están siendo cubiertas por varias revistas de prestigio como Art of watercolour, Artonomics, IWS magazine y muchas más.
Sobre mi estilo artístico
Creo que puedo relacionarme muy bien con los impresionistas. Su forma de ver e interpretar como si la escena estuviera hecha de impresiones o gotas de pintura es lo que me une a ellos. Pinto en todos los medios, pero la acuarela es mi favorita. Lo más fascinante de pintar en acuarela es su espontaneidad y la transparencia del medio.
Me da un inmenso placer pintar flores, ya que las considero símbolos de belleza y perfección creados por Dios. Me inspiran a ser feliz en cualquier circunstancia y sé que sonreirán para siempre a través de mis obras. Sin embargo, me encanta experimentar y tal vez en el futuro me vean pintando también otros temas.

2019 Consiguió el premio de compra de 800 euros en la 2ª Trienal Internacional de Acuarela y espíritu Varna, Bulgaria
2017 Obtuvo el 3er lugar en la categoría de mejor naturaleza muerta en Vizart International Watercolor Biennale Tirana, Albania
2016 Obtuvo el premio top 20 en el taller cultural internacional, IWS Nepal Festival
2016 Premio internacional para jóvenes artistas en el concurso en línea IWS IRAN
2016 Segundo puesto en el concurso Mini CASTRA
2014 Ganó el Primer lugar en la Categoría Floral No Realista en los American Art Awards.

About My Art Style
I think I can very well relate myself to the impressionists. There way of seeing and interpreting as if the scene is made out of impressions or droplets of paint is what connects me to them. I paint in all mediums but Watercolors are my favourite. The most fascinating thing about painting in watercolours is their spontaneity and the Transparency of the Medium.
It gives me immense pleasure to paint flowers as they I feel are symbols of beauty and perfection created by God. They inspire me to be happy in every circumstances and they, I know will be smiling forever through my works. I love to experiment though and maybe in future you would see me painting different subjects too.
