Cesc Farré, nacido en Terrassa (Barcelona, España) el 22 de septiembre de 1972. Licenciado en Arquitectura por la Facultad de Arquitectura (ETSAV, UPC Cataluña, España). Desde hace varios años pinta para galerías y participa en numerosos concursos donde obtiene importantes premios nacionales e internacionales. Es jurado internacional y tutor de acuarela.
En 2020 se convierte en embajador y testador oficial de la marca de pinceles Da Vinci con la que obtiene un set de autor y también primer embajador oficial de Schmincke donde obtiene un set de autor y el diseño de un color de la marca alemana que lleva su nombre. Ha grabado tutoriales de acuarela y ha publicado un libro llamado “Mares y cielos”.
Su pintura esconde una intensidad emotiva, de cierto sabor melancólico, que solo es descubierto desde el mirar detenido que permite averiguar que todo es producto de una elegante simplificación.
La máxima del minimalismo “menos es más” es el factor que conjuga Cesc en todas sus creaciones; con el mínimo de elementos consigue el máximo de emoción, para lo cual experimenta, exprime al máximo la técnica para dar mayor expresión a las texturas, a los matices, a la luz y fundamentalmente al mar que conjuga con la fuerza porque añade lo simbólico y emocional que tiene en él.

Cesc Farré, born in Terrassa (Barcelona, Spain) on 22 September 1972. Graduated in Architecture at the Faculty of Architecture (ETSAV, UPC Catalonia, Spain). For several years he has been painting for galleries and has participated in numerous competitions where he has won important national and international prizes. He is an international juror and watercolour tutor.
In 2020 he became an ambassador and official tester for the Da Vinci brush brand, obtaining a signature set and also the first official ambassador for Schmincke, obtaining a signature set and the design of a colour of the German brand that bears his name. He has recorded watercolour tutorials and has published a book called «Seas and Skies».
His painting hides an emotional intensity, with a certain melancholic flavour, which can only be discovered by looking closely, which allows us to realise that everything is the product of an elegant simplification.
The maxim of minimalism «less is more» is the factor that Cesc conjugates in all his creations; with the minimum of elements he achieves the maximum of emotion, for which he experiments, squeezes the technique to the maximum to give greater expression to the textures, the nuances, the light and fundamentally to the sea that he conjugates with strength because he adds the symbolic and emotional that he has in him.
