Judith Mary Offord, artista autodidacta, nació en Ipswich, Inglaterra, y creció con su familia en su casa de Newport, Shropshire. Mientras se licenciaba como terapeuta ocupacional en el Huyton College de Liverpool, conoció a su marido italiano y se trasladó a Italia. Aquí se establecieron con su familia de dos hijos, en las Marcas, en la hermosa ciudad medieval de Fermo, trabajando a tiempo completo en el hospital local como médico y fisioterapeuta.
Judith siempre ha sido una amante de la naturaleza y, por casualidad o por el destino, descubrió su pasión por la acuarela. La magia de esta técnica pictórica, la fluidez y la fusión de los pigmentos con el agua sobre el papel le permitieron captar e interpretar la belleza de la naturaleza que la rodea, sus colores y atmósferas mudas, la poesía y la emoción.
Alentada por el creciente reconocimiento, comenzó a exponer no solo en Italia sino también en el extranjero desde 2014. Continuó desarrollando constantemente su estilo guiado por maestros internacionales en sus talleres como Ilya Ibryaev, Thomas Schaller, Fernand Thienpond y inspirado por otros artistas como Dario Percy Ccallo, Ann Blockley, Angelo Gorlini.
Hasta hace poco disfrutaba viajando a encuentros de acuarela por todo el mundo donde la amistad y la participación le proporcionaban experiencias únicas que han contribuido a desarrollar su creatividad. Estas experiencias la impulsan a una continua e interminable exploración de la acuarela expresiva.
De hecho, recientemente se ha unido a un grupo internacional de amigos de la creatividad para pasar unos días de inmersión sensorial completa en la naturaleza que han inspirado una pintura experimental espontánea utilizando tintas con acuarela y pintura sobre lienzo. También le fascinan las conexiones entre la poesía y la acuarela y la acuarela con la música.
Judith Offord, desde 2014, ha realizado numerosas exposiciones individuales en la región de las Marcas: – Montecosaro, Corridonia, Civitanova Marche, Mombaroccio, Marina di Altidona, Fermo, Porto San Giorgio y ha participado en concursos de arte y exposiciones colectivas en toda Italia en las Marcas, Abruzos, Lacio, Liguria, Umbría, Apulia, Cerdeña; en las ciudades de Pesaro, Ancona, Fabriano, Ferrara, Génova, Amalfi, Spoleto, Cagliari, Urbino y en el extranjero en Bratislava, Caudete, Alicante, Tirana, Budapest, Karachi, Torres Vedras, Lisboa, Delhi, Praga y Kharkiv. Sus acuarelas se encuentran en colecciones privadas en Italia, en Londres, en varias partes de Inglaterra, en Bruselas y en Roma. Es miembro de InArte Fabriano y de la Asociación Internacional de Acuarela IWS.

Judith Mary Offord, a self-taught artist.was born in Ipswich, England, and grew up with her family in their home in Newport, Shropshire. Judith has always been a lover of nature and by chance or by destiny she discovered her passion for Watercolour painting. The magic of this pictoric technique, the flow and fusion of pigments with water on paper enabled her to capture and interpret the beauty of surrounding nature, it’s muting colours and atmospheres, the poetry and emotion.
Encouraged by growing recognition she began to exhibit not only in Italy but also abroad since 2014. She constantly continued developing her style guided by international masters in their workshops such as Ilya Ibryaev, Thomas Schaller, Fernand Thienpondtand inspired by other artists such as Dario Percy Ccallo, Ann Blockley, Angelo Gorlini.
Up until recently she has enjoyed travelling to watercolour meetings all over the world where friendship and participation provided unique experiences that have contributed in developing her creativity. Such experiences spur her on in a continuous and neverending exploration into expressive watercolour.
Infact very recently she has joined a local international group of creativity friends spending days of full sensorial immersion into nature which have inspired a spontaneous experimental painting using inks with watercolour and painting on canvas. She is also fascinated by the connections between poetry and watercolour and watercolour to music.
Judith Offord, since 2014, has held numerous solo exhibitions in the Marche region:- Montecosaro, Corridonia, Civitanova Marche, Mombaroccio, Marina di Altidona, Fermo, Porto San Giorgio and has partecipated in art contests and group exhibitions all over Italy in the Marche, Abruzzo, Lazio, Liguria, Umbria, Puglia, Sardegna; in the towns of Pesaro, Ancona, Fabriano, Ferrara, Genova, Amalfi, Spoleto, Cagliari, Urbino and abroad in Bratislava, Caudete, Alicante, Tirana, Budapest, Karachi, Torres Vedras, Lisbon, Delhi, Prague and Kharkiv. Her watercolours can be found in private collections in Italy, in London, in various parts of England, in Brussels and Rome. A member of InArte Fabriano and IWS International Watercolour Association.
