J. (JIE) LI, artista invitada a la V Bienal Internacional . Caudete 2019.

 

Una artista chino-estadounidense que vive y trabaja en Nueva York, J. Li estudió pintura desde una edad temprana. Después de graduarse en Parsons School of Design (BFA), trabajó en Calvin Klein Women´s Collection y luego trabajó como consultora de moda.

En 2015, J. Li comenzó a reavivar  su pasión por las bellas artes al regresar a su estudio y volver a retomar sus pinceles. Después de trabajar durante un año, J. Li fue aceptada como Artista Electo Miembro de la American Artists Professional League. Tres años después, en 2018, J. Li fue galardonada como Miembro de la American Artists Professional League.

Li ha participado en exposiciones en China, Japón, Reino Unido y Estados Unidos, y ha recibido numerosos premios. Sus obras se encuentran en varias colecciones privadas y públicas en China, Japón, Reino Unido y Estados Unidos, incluido el Consulado General de Japón.

Li expresa en sus obras el amor, el odio y el deseo de lo mas profundo de la naturaleza humana, mediante el uso de expresiones cruzadas, figurativas y abstractas , para discutir el significado de la vida y los aspectos positivos y negativos de la naturaleza humana.

 

 


 

 

(Jie) Li. INVITED ARTIST, V INTERNATIONAL BIENNIAL CAUDETE 2019

 

A Chinese-American living and working in New York, J. Li studied painting from an early age. After graduating from Parsons School of Design (BFA), she worked in Calvin Klein Women’s Collection and later works as a Fashion Consultant.  In 2015, J. Li was reigniting her passion for fine art by returning to the studio, and picking up her brushes again. After working for a year, J. Li was accepted as an Elected Artist Member of the American Artists Professional League. Three years later, in 2018 J. Li was awarded as Fellow Member of the American Artists Professional League. J. Li has participated in exhibitions in China, Japan, United Kingdom and United States, and has been the recipient of awards. Her works are in several private and public collections in China, Japan, United Kingdom, and United States, including Consulate General of Japan.

Li expresses love, hate, and desire in the depths of human nature by using figurative and abstract cross-expressions to discuss the meaning of life, and the positive and negative aspects of human nature, using the natural occurrences and disasters as the symbolic meanings, and bringing out the emotions and atmosphere in the paintings.
